Beaujolais Wine Festival presented by The French American Chamber of
Commerce
An exceptional vintage, une année exceptionnelle! This is a year to
remember. Even when they search their memories our elders can’t remember
a similar year. The harvest started on around 11th August in the
earliest ripening areas, before the official bans that were fixed for
14th August. That’s 11 days before the last earliest harvest dating from
1893. It is said that in 1556 we harvested on 15th August… That’s nearly
500 years ago. 2003 has already gone down in history. In celebration of
this exceptional vintage, the Atlanta Chapter of the French-American
Chamber of Commerce will keep this tradition with a « degustation » of
this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau at Atlanta’s 17th Annual Beaujolais
Festival.

The gala will feature the newly released 2003 Beaujolais Nouveau wines.

labeled « Louisiana Purchase Bicentennial » Beaujolais cuvée selected,
bottled and labeled in celebration of the 200th anniversary of this
important event in our State's history!
A French-inspired Silent Auction and a Live Auction will feature an
array of artwork, restaurant meals, luxury services, and exotic trips
and stays at Ritz-Carlton Hotels worldwide. Travel to these destinations
will be by Air France and Delta Air Lines. These five-star excursions

French and Francophile enthusiasts will gather for this food and wine
